Delta's Red Oxide Primer is a corrosion resistant primer based on synthetic resin medium & suitably added with red oxide pigments as anti corrosive agent.
It is suitable for all types of ferrous substrate like Gates, Grills, Steel structures etc.
Surface prepration:
Initially sand the surface with coarse sand/water paper according to the type of surfaces to remove rust, dust and other loose particles. Wipe the surface clean. Apply properly thinned one or two coats of Delta’s Primer. Before application of top coat, dilute the paint appropriately with Mineral Turpentine oil.
COVERAGE:
It depends on many factors like surface condition, surface preparation, application skill, weather conditions, dilution etc. Approximately 160 to 180 sq ft per litre per coat depending on the nature and porosity of the Surface.
DRYING TIME:
- Under normal conditions touch dry with in 2 hours.
- Overcoatability with overnight drying.
SAFETY:
Keep out of the reach of children. When empty do not use this pack to store foodstuffs.
HEALTH:
Ensure good ventilation during. Application and drying. Avoid contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap water or proprietary skin cleanser. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek proper medical advice.
